Wake Up And Smell The Jihad; Economic Terrorism
During the flurry of resent stories of Muslims protesting and rioting over the cartoon portrayals of Muhammad I happened onto the web site of MichelleMalkin.com. On her site I found a few transcripts of a TV interview Alan Dershowitz gave on a Holland station in regards to the uproar over the cartoons. The reason I want to show those transcripts is because Alan makes some very insightful comments about what is taking place as a result of the riots. He calls it economic terrorism.
What he is seeing, and what the world is seeing through these protests is a glimpse into the future when Muslims submit to the anti-Christ and attempt to force the will of their leader on the world at large.
There has been much erroneous speculation in recent past about the mark of the beast being anything from a credit card to a chip implant. The Bible is very clear about it being a mark in the form of either the number 666, the name of the beast or an emblem that represents the beast. This mark will be used to control how people do business in the future, first in the ten nation kingdom of the beast, and then in a growing portion of the world as that kingdom begins to dominate other nations that surround it.
The Mark of the Beast is about economic terrorism conducted by multitudes of people who think they are serving God, not about technology and tracking devices. The only technology that will be needed is a fire brand, a tattoo kit or even a sharp cutting tool to place the mark upon the body of the willing. After that, the mark is a sign to anyone who looks upon the forehead or right hand of the recipient. Those who have the mark will persecute and kill those who dont. Its about extreme peer pressure and social engineering through fear. The kind that is already prevalent in Muslim countries where minorities are often persecuted and killed. Moderate peace loving Muslims remain silent because they know that to speak out will bring retribution upon them, even to the point of death, by those who feel that they have done harm to Islam. You can call Islam a religion of peace, but it is those who violently obey the Qur'an who will control the future of the religion.
In the avalanche of stories that have passed across the newswires we have seen how with a little bit of organization these people become a sea of hostility and violence towards anyone who is different from themselves, particularly Jews, Christians, Israel and the Westor Dutch cartoon drawers in this case. The book of Daniel and elsewhere tell us that it is these people who will rise up in the end to cast truth to the ground, follow the beast, overrun Israel, persecute Christians and cause tribulation in the world.
Christians need to wake up now and smell the jihad. Its time to forget about the fanciful stories about a one world government with a charismatic leader with all the answers. The Bible describes a leader who is full of deceit and terrorism. He only has to lead his own people to be successful at treading down the earth; like Hitler in Germany.
Expect a Bin Laden type. Revered and often loved by Muslims yet despised by much of the rest of the world, to rise to the leadership of a ten nation block of countries that are already committed to the destruction of Israel; and ready for war against anyone who opposes them, as opposed to a charismatic intellectual who woes millions the world over as the leader of a one world government.
Mr. Dershowitz is definitely not a prophet, and he may even be ignorant of what the Bible says of the end times, but he has, at least, stumbled on to the truth of what the future holds.
The following is a portion of what he said.
It's great hypocrisy on the part of those doing the burning, because these are some of the same people who read voraciously much worse cartoons directed at Christians and Jews and Americans and Israel. Deeply, deeply, offensive anti-Christian and anti-Semitic cartoons are a staple out of Gaza every week, and suddenly, when Mohammed is offended, they're prepared to burn down embassies and create this kind of havoc. It is extraordinary hypocrisy.
...You can't have a story about a cartoon without seeing the cartoon. In fact, when you see the cartoons published by the Danish newspapers, they are mild in comparison with what's published every day in Islamic fundamentalists newspapers and in Syrian newspapers, in Egyptian newspapers, in Saudi Arabian newspapers. So you have to see the cartoon to get a sense of how outrageous these attacks on the Danish embassy [are] and the hypocrisy across the Middle East is.
...I was informed yesterday that Time magazine was seriously considering publishing the cartoons. That would take an act of courage.
CNN has shown no courage. It claims it won't publish the cartoons because they're offensive. But they have published previous cartoons that are offensive. The fact is, they're frightened. The fact is, that this kind of religious and intellectual terrorism is working. It is persuading journalists who would otherwise cover this story with the cartoons to back away--not on ideological reasons or not for reasons of protecting or preserving integrity or anything of that kind, but out of physical and economic fear. This is economic, physical terrorism directed at journalists and it is working. They have succeeded in the United States. They have failed in parts of Europe, but they have succeeded in the United States.
...When the burning down of embassies and the fear of fatwas and physical and economic retaliation are what determines the policy, it means that the terrorists have won. And the United States and other European countries have a policy: Never give in to terrorism. Well, they're now giving in to terrorism by not publishing these cartoons--not because they're offensive, they publish plenty of offensive cartoons, but because they are frightened and because they lack the courage to confront this kind of terrorist threat.
Update:
As the controversy continues, a Pakistani cleric, Mohammed Yousaf Qureshi, has announced that his religion school will reward $25,000 and a new car, plus $1 million dollars from a Pakistani jewelers association to whoever kills one of the cartoonists. Qureshi stated, "This is a unanimous decision by all imams of Islam that whoever insults the prophet deserves to be killed and whoever will take this insulting man to his end, will get this prize."
In the mean time US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld bemoans the the inability of the US to match, and respond to the internet activities of militant jihadist Muslims. There are many jihad sites that constantly call for action against even the most none egregious activities of those who are considered enemies. Osama bin Ladens chief lieutenant declares that they are in a media battle for the hearts and minds of Muslims, while the US remains largely inept and bureaucratic in its response.
Underlying all of this a greater battle. A spiritual battle. Again, for the hearts and minds of Muslims, but this is the battle of the gospel. God is opening doors throughout the Middle East and environs for the Gospel to be preached to Muslims. It is the battle for the eternal souls of those who belong to Jesus Christ. God did not cause the tsunami that devastated the shorelines of Indonesia, but He did open the door for believers to enter in and show compassion and grace. God did not send airplanes on 9-11, but the resulting wars and dialogue have provided an opening for the gospel to reach Muslim countries. The elections in the Middle East do not go the way that Americans and Christians would like, but with the elections there is sometimes an accompanying pragmatism that makes the newly elected look at things in a non-Muslim way in order to further their own goals through compromise, which guarantees certain liberties to non-Muslims, if only temporarily. The reason for all the rioting, turmoil and words of anger and hatred coming out of the Middle East is that Satan is angry that the gospel is going into His stronghold countries despite his best efforts to prevent it.
Update:
The story of a 41-year-old Afghan man, Abdul Rahman, on trial and facing the death sentence, for converting to Christianity 16 years ago, should be just further proof to Christians of the absurdity of the Revised Rome theories that have been around since the fall of Rome. Although they were put forth as theory or personal belief by church leaders hundreds of years ago, they are now taught and accepted by many as fact. However, the Bible is much clearer on who and what the beast kingdom is.
Scripture consistently points to the Middle East as the region and the people who will follow the beast, and the area from which he will rise. Even the nations of Europe which made up a large portion of the Roman Empire are afraid of the religion of the Middle East. Allah thoroughly communicates his contempt for Christians and Jews in the pages of the Qur'an and calls Muslims to action against any who attempt to hinder Muslims or Islam. On the other hand, Europe is made up of Christians, dead Christian religions, atheists and a growing Muslim population that has leaders and common people feeling more than a little uneasy.
It is the most purist form of Middle East Islam that will line up behind the anti-Christ in his quest to eliminate Christians and Jews from the face of the earth. The elimination of Israel is a part of the mission statement of most Middle East countries.
